History
The park is marked by a standing stone, into which is carved “William Shakespeare Park – made possible by a generous gift from John B. and Delores C. Fery 1999”
“This park is operated by the City of Boise and was purchased in 1999. It is a really neat park! Stones have been brought in as park benches, and the view of the river is outstanding. Each picnic spot is named by somthing out of Shakespeare’s works. At the end of the park is a conservation area. There is a bunch of wildlife in this park and it is rarely visited, so there is a good chance of spotting an animal of some kind.” Quote from Waymarking.
