The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet flank the entrance to the Delacorte theatre in Central Park. The first statue shows a windswept Prospero and Miranda, the second the lovers in an embrace.
Both statues were were a gift from publisher and philanthropist George T. Delacorte, and were sculpted by Milton Hebald.
