Bronze statue of William Shakespeare, conceived by Dr Caroly Nagy.
From Waymarking: The slightly over-size bronze statue of famous playwright William Shakespeare is located on the Danube promenade in Budapest in front of Starbucks coffee and opposite (accross the Danube river) to Buda Castle. The statue was made in 1960 by Hungarian sculptor Andor Measzaros(Budapest, 1900 – Melbourne 1972).

Inscription reads: ‘William Shakespeare 23 April 1564 – 23 April 1616 The Actor’
