The park was conceived by the Shakespeare Club of Oklahoma City, and contains a Shakespeare Bust in dark metal. A plaque beneath the bust proclaims the the site to be ‘In honor of Shakespeare/ Presented by the Shakespeare Club of Oklahoma City/ 1933’
