History
Hall’s Croft stands in the old part of Stratford-upon-Avon, on the corner between Church Street and Old Town. The oldest part of the house was constructed in 1613, and as such would have been newly built when Susanna and John moved in. In the end, the couple only lived at Hall’s Croft for three years, moving into New Place when Shakespeare died in 1616.
