Memorialising Shakespeare is a collaborative research project between the University of Western Australia and the London Shakespeare Centre at King’s College London and is funded by the Australian Research Council. It began with a transnational investigation of the tercentenary commemoration of Shakespeare’s death in 1916 in Australia and Britain and is expanding to include the study of Shakespeare memorialisation around the globe and across history.
